About the school song writer/composer
Chanté, Martha, Bronwyn du Preez was born on 14 December 1993 in Uitenhage, out of the union of Jeffrey and Sharon du Preez. Her father, Jeffrey, is an ex-learner and teacher of John Walton Secondary, and was head boy in 1982.
Chanté is part of the matric 2011 class at Clapham High School in Pretoria, the same school at which brother Jefferson matriculated in 2007. She hopes to pursue a career in international relations after school. She regards herself as a principled person, and a committed Christian with a strong belief- and value system. Amongst a list of many interests, she is very passionate about music and dancing.
